| The University of California, Davis School of Law
or Martin Luther King Jr., School of Law and
commonly known as King Hall, is an American Bar
Association-accredited law school located in Davis,
California on the campus of the University of California,
Davis. By design, King Hall is the smallest of the four
law schools in the University of California system, with
a total enrollment of approximately 500 students. Having
graduated its first class in 1969, it is also the
youngest. UC Davis Law School ranked 34th among the
nation's top 100 law schools according to the 2007 U.S.
News & World Report Annual Survey. King Hall
offers a special certification in public service law. Its
academic program also features clinical programs, a
vigorous moot court program & trial practice program,
and a full range of other courses. King Hall is known for
its unique atmosphere among law schools - those who
attend it argue that King Hall boasts a particularly
collegial environment for a top-tier school.
